In Sarura. The Future Is an Unknown Place, the boys and girls of Youth of Sumud (“The youth of perseverance”) teach us that, whatever territory we come from, each of us can make a difference in the community where we live: we can refuse to accept injustice and put our voice and our body on the front line in defence of human rights and dignity.
Those who become witnesses and peacefully fight for their own rights and the rights of others become part of a worldwide network of people who do not give up, but work to build the foundations for a better future.

This applies both to Palestine and to the city where we live.

Everyone can take an active part in this struggle and become a witness by raising awareness of what surrounds us and becoming an agent of change.
